Beginning Vinyasa yoga emphasizes alignment and breath. Students learn proper body placement in each pose and learn to connect their movements to their breathing, developing the fundamental building blocks for vinyasa (flow) yoga. Beginning Vinyasa yoga helps students build strength, increase flexibility and reduce stress.

Janine’s Vinyasa yoga class is a challenging class that encourages students to work at their own level and ability while moving beyond self-doubt and expectations. Students learn to “listen” to their bodies as a guideline for their practice. The interweaving of asana (pose) and pranayama (breath) leaves students with a sense of well-being and confidence along with well deserved sweat.
